The Empower Her Future campaign has reached significant milestones in its mission to support and elevate women entrepreneurs across South Africa. In a key development, Genlou Industrial Supplies and Repairs CC has joined as the official sponsor of the Empower Her Future program. Genlou’s partnership strengthens our ability to provide women entrepreneurs with essential tools, resources, and opportunities for success.

The campaign has now entered an exciting phase with the selection of twelve outstanding women-led companies for the next stage of the competition. These shortlisted candidates have showcased exceptional potential and innovative ideas set to make substantial impacts in their communities. The geographic diversity of the shortlisted companies reflects the widespread entrepreneurial talent across South Africa:

• Seven companies from Mpumalanga
• Three from Gauteng
• One from North West
• One from the Western Cape

Moving forward, these twelve companies will compete for six finalist positions. The selected finalists will present their companies’ value propositions on August 30, 2024, demonstrating their innovative concepts and plans for positive change.
